Planned Parenthood - Westminster Health Center

I noticed that this one has a ton of one stars but trust me they are nice, attentive, funny and will make you comfortable. I found out i had a YI and they helped me through it all from making me see the bright side of things and with my short term treatment. they’re a mostly woman team and have only ever seen one male but they stayed at the desk so no problem being there uncomfortable and it goes away after the first time going, they always give me condoms without asking when i go and will give you what you need with no hassle.:)

Cecilia Huang told me I was her FIRST patient and I came to her on temp disability because of my endometriosis. She claimed I was lazy and discontinued my instated temp disability the day after I had surgery without even knowing if Im going to be okay after my surgery. Its been 2 years and Im still not okay. Nobody knows whats wrong with me and I constantly mull over taking my life because of this experience. They ruined my body, I cant experience pleasure without pain anymore. I would rather end it.I visited her and begged for her to help me get back on disability so I can get the measly 400 every 2 weeks Dr Shanoy gave me but she said no and that she couldnt help me. I ran out of the facility in tears. Swore never to come back.The staff is nice and friendly but thats all they have going for them. I came to this office living a normal happy life. Now Im bedridden and jobless with a mountain of debt. I wanted to know why I had lots of chin hair and they immediately gave me birth control. I developed mental health issues that I never had before and was diagnosed with bipolar 2. I gained extremely painful cysts from the birth control. They will try to brainwash you and tell you thats not possible but whatever hormones they put me on changed me for the worse. They sent me out to the absolutely worst OBGYN (Dr pinches) i could have dreamed of. A man who didnt give me the time of day and just wanted to shove his fingers inside for a uncomfortably painful and embarrassing examination. He immediately told me I needed to be on medication that starts my menopause at 30 years old. I refused so he did a hysteropathy on me, which took 5 months to schedule because he forgot to show up to surgery twice when I was in the hospital. After the dnc Ive had even worse periods, ones that send me to the emergency room in an ambulance and make me consider ending my life from the pain. They dont care about you here. They still have no idea whats wrong with me and its horrifying. I know why people boycott this place now. My bad for trusting them with my health.

Nurses here are attentive and very kind. The receptionists are also great and the atmosphere here is very welcoming. They had me all caught up with testing and are very transparent with what they’re doing, etc. This location is awesome!

This is an excellent clinic. Every time I’ve been here has been a great experience from the ladies at the front desk to the nurses, medical assistants, and doctors. I’ve never had to wait more than 5 min once I check in. They are quick and organized and just so nice. Thank you to everyone who works here. Special thanks to Dr. Barbara who is attentive and incredibly compassionate!

Came today for a visit to address 2 health issues but was told can only be seen for one thing when Im already here and had made it clear when i made the appointment that I had 2 issues to be seen for. If Im already in office why should or do I need to come back. Also why should I jqve to leave my primary care office and go to urgent care when I am already here having issues.. Just gonna switch Dr today always have had issues with planned parenthood actually should have switched a long time ago. But now I have. 2nd time coming to this office for this problem should have been sent or referred to a specialist before it got this bad before now. So maybe this new bad experience is what I needed to finally switch from this place. Beware folks!!

Helen Hashimoto disregarded my pain in breast. Went in for possible mastitis with pain I was experiencing for the past 2 days. She told me it was not mastitis and nothing was wrong. An hour later my breast was in extreme pain, I developed a fever and body aches along with redness on my breast. Had to go to an urgent care to get antibiotics to treat me for something she couldve done prior. So disappointed in her practice and this facility.

I’ve been coming to Planned Parenthood for about 10 years for my well woman visits. This was my second time at this location. Because of Covid, their process to be seen is different. But their instructions along the way for each step, made it easy. EVERYONE there from the girl that took my temp at the door... to the girl giving me info for follow up on my way out... we’re all super nice and respectful. The PA that room care of me was really Nice. Took time in explaining things and time to answer my questions. Never felt rushed and she made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend this location.

Awesome experience. The care I have been receiving since being back home has been horrendous at best. From check in to check out, I was treated with dignity and respect from all the staff at Planned Patentthood. They didnt shout my personal info like phone nbr, reason for visit and date of birth across the room. The nurse that helped me with my needs (fibroids) and explained all information to me and what to expect was patient and kind. Even reviewed my ultrasound with me (which the actual dr declined to do at Los Alamitos Medical) Im so glad I went there. I felt safe and cared for. I truly wish people understood Planned Parenthood does more than abortion. (And even then I believe its no ones business) So many services available for women and men at a sliding scale. I should have went here 3 years ago. Even with insurance, that doesnt mean you will be treated with dignity and respect. You wont at least not here. None if the so calles better doctors did even half of what they did. Thank you all for making this whole challenge easier for me and everything you do. Truly a blessing.

I felt incredibly safe and cared for. The best medical treatment I had ever received for my obgyn health. I was treated so kindly and felt like a human and left with dignity still in tact. Wonderful amazing service

Everyone here was very nice and informative. I had an appointment for an implant and the wait was not too long. The doctor was especially sweet and energetic, and she talked me through my nervousness; she made me feel very comfortable. The procedure was very quick and not as painful as Id thought. Overall, the visit was very quick, efficient, and friendly.

Good people, as always at Planned Parenthood.New covid rules:-only a 5 min late grace period for appt-they can only talk to you if youre in the parking lot, bc it is unsafe to talk while driving-you stay in the car and they call you when theyre ready-they give you a medical mask when you come inIf you miss your appt (like me), you can wait for the next opening, which is up in the air bc it depends on when people cancel/no show. I only waited 20 mins and I was inIts a lot of back and forth between the car, but it is super efficient and clear.

Planned Parenthood is supposed to be all about supporting people in whatever choice they make for their body and their health. Mary Kern harassed repeatedly my coworker about getting a covid vaccine, which my coworker repeatedly said no and Mary would not let up, she kept pressuring and harassing her. Then she said “well then you have to get a flu shot” my coworker didn’t want that either. Same thing happened she kept harassing her. What happened to my body my choice?!? What happened to no means NO?!? How dare you guys do this to someone. I am absolutely disgusted with this.

I asked for details of my visit they had no idea what I was talking about had to speak to a manager to get documents stating why I was there after an hour of waiting in the waiting room they gave me records of up until 2022 with all my business I just wanted todays visit info I had to drive back to get the right documents.. the doctor asked me if I wanted to swab to test for trep throat at first I said no I believed I only had a throat virus that I had for a week but towards the end I asked I repeat asked to get a swab exam just to find out I did have strep and needed antibiotics..so unprofessional

Doctors need to do a better job at being compassionate. Women who go there to have an abortion. Are not given other alternatives or asked if they are 100% sure. The doctor prefers you have an abortion. Small talk and here take the drugs and bye.

My fiance is pregnant and getting an ultrasound and they would NOT let mr in with her. As the father of the child she is carrying i feel completely disrespected. Not only that the nurses are rude. I would NOT suggest this place to anyone

First time going to Planned Parenthood and this experience was so lovely. I went right when this location opened so there was barely any wait. Everyone was kind and knowledgeable. I would definitely visit again.

They really told me i couldn’t get abortion after having appointment . thought we was allow to have sat with our bodies . people be careful turns out we can’t have abortion in california anymore !

The ladies in the front were nice but the doctor I saw was very disconnected from her job. She seened like she didnt want to be there and wasnt very nice. I felt very uncomfortable around her. It was the worst experience I ever had at a planned parenthood...

No professionalism, nurse practitioner handing out diagnoses with no examination, rudeness a lack of compassion. Im still wondering how they get these jobs with no experience and no desire to help patients. Worst experience ever, they took urine sample and misdiagnose the results. I have seen a real doctor afterwords and got the problem fixed. Needless to say, dont go there.

Dont go here if your cramps are so unbearable and you just want to get help for them cause all dr HELEN will say is “live stress free”No one actually tries to help at this location. Dr helen will also tell you that they dont do certain things but they actually do. She just honestly sucks at her job and doesnt care for any patients. She just cares for her paycheck.

Love this place!! Front desk was very kind to help for my first time visit, and the Doctor is amazing, she is really care asks so many questions to help out. Recommend to all of my friends and family.

Great place for men and women to get tested, and for women to get birth control in a comfortable environment. Or you can make this place your primary care physician to be seen by a doctor and get referrals to see a specialist.

Very nice staffs, this is my first time get to know about birth control and stuff and they did help me a lot. Thank you guys, you guys are amazing.

Horrible nurses 2 where so rude to me so I told them if you dont like doing your job you should go and work somewhere else but they didnt care I dont recommend going here and its a planned parenthood clinic.😞
