The initial process was time-consuming, but they paid you mostly for the qualification process. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and flexible appointment times are a plus. Once I was in, I made a few thousand dollars a month from donating a couple of times a week. It’s an easy way to make money and do a good cause.

If you are looking to donate check out sperm bank of California, they are a lot more respectable then this place. This place is a scam.Walked in and it’s obvious the place is very unprofessional, from the people to the facility. The room where you gather a sample is very unpleasant. And there’s lack of trying to be anonymous as there’s other donors showing up at the same time as you. 1/10 experience

The service at this place is fine, and they reached back to me fairly quickly. The only problem I have is that their transparency is nonexistent. I applied and got rejected without them providing any further information. I do understand that there are several reasons why they refuse to disclose, but it just doesnt instill trust in the company. However, that doesnt really bother me. The main thing that disturbs me is that they didnt disclose my specimens test results. Its just not right to not disclose, as I dont see how it would hurt them. It seems like the least they can do. Overall, its not humane the way their policies are set up; it makes you feel like you are a lab rat.

NOT worth the money, the samples they send are TOO small and pipettes too short, the chances of getting pregnant is ZERO if you do it at home. Perhaps at doctors better chances??? I dont know. Perhaps asking a neighbor to be a donor might be better, fresher and larger sample

I filled out the online application, and even though the only descriptor for me was identifying my ethnicity and nothing else, I was rejected and told Im not suitable and that they cant disclose to ME why I wasnt selected because they say so. If they needed men that can donate sperm, they wouldnt be so picky.

I dont understand why they cant disclose why I was rejected. I saw an ad on instagram and thought I could try. I went filled out the paperwork and scheduled an appointment and dressed for the interview accordingly. Prior, I got tested clean a few months ago for stds. My doctor recommended I even go to a urologist since a sperm bank would take too long. That urologist said I was healthy. If my doctor is able to recommend me to a sperm bank and they provide results for a health standpoint, then they should be able to disclose why I got rejected. Like if my motality rate is low then I should know. If I am carrying a genetic gene that may cause cancer, I should know. If its because of my height I should know. I thought I was a good candidate: excellent health, educated with bachelor degree, 30, no stds, no drugs or smoking. Now I feel like theres something wrong with me.

I have a son and his donor in description had hair. When I have contacted them that picture was a guy without hair...basically not true advertising I was told that I cant get another picture. I think that pick up is easy and staff is usually friendly but it would be great to have a photo of donor for son that matches what I actually received.

Poorly run business. Don’t even bother trying to donate. I submitted an online application, then got an email months later about it. Ok, they have plenty of donors, that’s fine. I then had to schedule a 15 minute window to fill out an application - which I learned was about 10 pages long and no contact. I filled it out in my car, then dropped it off in a box. Someone came out 10 min later and told me that I’ll get a call shortly. Shortly turned out to be 5 days later…wtf did I have to schedule a 15 min window to fill out the forms when there was no rush on their part? There was only one other person filling out a form. And they acted like I could only fill it out during that 15 minute window! And that form could EASILY have been filled out online. This place is so inefficient and poorly run! Once I found out that they wanted a recounting of EVERY single out-of-continental-US trip I’ve ever taken plus a full family tree with dates as a second step out of 12, I realized what a waste of time this whole endeavor would be. It would take months to complete everything. I imagine that the only successful donors are those with way too much time on their hands and who are super desperate. Don’t even waste your time with this place, the employees certainly don’t mind wasting it for you!
