AFC Urgent Care Hollywood

I had an excellent experience at this urgent care clinic. While my initial interaction with the doctor was a bit bumpy, the rest of the staff more than made up for it with their professionalism, warmth, thoughtfulness, compassion, and dedication to patient care. Christine, the office manager, was exceptionally nice and really went above and beyond - she personally delivered my medicine to my home so I wouldn’t have to leave again after my visit. I was so impressed by how the team ensured I had everything I needed to feel better and made the entire process comfortable and seamless. Their level of care really exceeded my expectations and I genuinely thank them with all my heart. Highly recommend.

Once I arrived the office was immaculate, the front desk person Margarita was very courteous and the nurse practitioner and medical staff were very professional and thorough. The only issue I had was I called before driving there I called and asked if they accepted my insurance to make sure they were with in network. Person on the phone said yes but when arrived I was informed I had to pay more than expected since they were out of network. Which was really annoying since it took me 45 min to arrive then I had no choice but to stay since my child was ill.

The staff at this urgent care location are consistently professional and provide excellent care. Regina, in particular, stands out for her professionalism and dedication. I have no complaints and always feel well taken care of here. I constantly refer others to this location because of their outstanding service.

Had a great experience. Check in was easy and staff was great. They addressed my issue immediately and the nurse who injected me did a fantastic job, didn’t feel anything!!!  Happy I have this office close to my house.

This is a great urgent care. Its very easy to make an appointment online and when you get there the wait time is not bad at all. The staff is very nice, the place is very clean and they also see bigger kids which is a plus for me. I recommend.

Visited here several times and each time was quick and efficient service. I usually have the same MA Miss Ranesha always a patient person with this difficult patient. Thank you guys for always being available when needed. My NP today also was super amazing didnt even know she was my provider she was at the front desk for my first encounter with her and she greeted me with a smile

The Staff Here is so Amazing Margarita front desk and Ronesha the Nurse both were very helpful to me. I will be coming back again soon. I love to feel good energy when i walk into any room.

Rashiqa was amazing from the first day that I walked in the door!!! She did my physical and my tb test she was very kind hearted and patient . She was fast and she made my appointment easy and I would go back .

I went to get a drug screen for a new employer. The waiting room was very nice and so was the lady who checked me in. However, i called the day before as well as that day to confirm the hours of the clinic when drug screens are collected. I was told that they took urine test until 1:30pm. When I arrived I was told that their system was down just under two hours of arriving by a $35 Uber ride. I begged her to just check to see if I could leave my specimen. She was kind enough to ask and I was so grateful that it was a yes. I wish I could recall that nice lady’s name.The young woman who actually collected the specimen clearly hates her job. She was curt with me and treated me like I was a burden. Perhaps that is not the right position for her. This was on Sunday 10/13 afternoon. That was my experience alone but that woman who catalogues the urine samples is not pleasant in any way.

Facts:1) Have to fill the form online before the visit, you will need to do it anyway on premise.2) $36 copay regardless if you have insurance.3) Monday morning 9am not busy, 2-3 ppl in the queueReview:Nice people, sweet lady at reception, not very long wait after scheduled time. A good team of nurses and a doctor, very professional, i got help on the spot, and feel great now.Thanks for a great experience.

$145 for about one minute of an interview with a TA not even an MD. Just another inefficient way to get a prescription for something that was already self diagnosed. They get 5 stars for being friendly, open on Saturday, and able to prescribe an antibiotic.

The staff was so kind and nice to me. When youre not feeling well, you just want people to be nice and they were exceptional lovely staff and I really appreciate all of their help.

Regina is amazing assistant . The attention is excellent. We were some many time there and the staff is so kind.

UPDATE:::::***** when I came here last visit it was a great visit… I’m pretty sure there has been a changed in staff because I wasted my time believing I would get proper care. The NP Rafael is, just basically told me there’s nothing he can do but give me medication for headaches which was not my main concern. It was more about the nerve issue I am having on my bottom lip. Which if the issue worsen, MY FAMILY WILL SUE THIS PLACE! He basically told me there is nothing he can do about the numbness on my bottom left side of the face. I wasted my morning time & copay which I should’ve paid with a card to dispute. After I left here I just went to the emergency room to get better assistance since clearly nobody in this office wants to help. Even when I came in the girl gave attitude as it is my fault that the front desk person never showed up…. This office is a circus now! maybe because it was Saturday and during the week it’s better staffing. But I will not be a returning client again. Clearly people become aids but forget about actually caring for people in need of help. ********

Arrive at 10am and departed at 12:15. That was due to the app didn’t complete my sign-in paperwork and it was left sitting on the desk until I approached the receptionist and ask why was it taking so long. Once my paperwork was completed they immediately escorted me into a waiting room. After being diagnosed by the medical physician, I had to wait another 30mins before they returned with my release papers. Service was polite and professional, however it took too long to be seen and released.

This was the best urgent care experience I have ever had. The staff is very nice and worked very quickly and efficiently. Rayneisha was especially sweet and took great care of my sick family member.

The nurse who took care of me, her name was Crissi, she was amazing. Not only was she attentive but she addressed every concern I had. She was extremely knowledgeable & I would recommend her to anyone who has health concerns visiting this location.

Yes I had a good experience at this AFC urgent care. I called and spoke with Jenny and she immediately said to come on in and it was very fast no wait time. The other two gals that were assisting her were very nice pleasant and professional.

They take time with you to identify your problem by performing X-ray and other types of testing, than prescribe you what’s needed for your case. They are very professional. I really appreciate the kind of work they did. Thanks!

THE ABSOLUTE WORST, I was lied to on the phone, samples were sent to lab in improper containers, skewing the results, medical report was not sent to requesting doctor but rather I was called to come pick it up, and only then after I had to follow it up several times. Absolutely huge mistake going there.

Joshua at the front desk greeted us and was efficient, professional, and friendly. Definitely provides a warm warm welcome! Ana took the the initial history and checked vital signs. She was equally professionals and friendly, asking all the right questions and getting the information she needed quickly. Jennifer, the Nurse Practitioner was awesome. Within minutes she completed her exam and provided the needed recommendations and prescription. If you need to seek urgent care assistance, I can’t imagine a more pleasant experience. Kudos to her and the entire staff today. One last suggestion: their website lets you know how many people are waiting at any given time, so you can plan your visit. It allows you to schedule an appointment the same day, as available, and even request that a reminder be sent via text so you know when to head over to the clinic. The site also allows you to upload pertinent info, including any insurance card images so that you can register before showing up. Ample parking. Conclusion: Don’t get sick or hurt—but if you do, this place (and the amazing staff) definitely impresses!

Still a great uc. Please update your summer hours though went at 8 am today and you were closed. This is today 7/13/24. Please also make it so that you cant book online for times closed.I added a picture of their new timesThis is my urgent care of choice.Wait times are fast and staff is friendly. The doctors care. You can even make an appointment online. Wonderful urgent care.

I was seen right away. Check in was very easy. Staff was very friendly and professional. Lobby was exceptionally clean. I would definitely recommend.

They require all the data during registration, both SSN and address, and contacts of relatives and email, and you have to agree to everything! Please DELETE MY DATA! They insistently asked me to leave a good review. I came just to take tests! There are no questions about the staff and the clinic, everyone was polite and friendly.

It was a complete time waster, sitting in pain only to be quickly referred to PCP or ER by the nurse. The one star is for the nice young lady at the front desk. Not happy, will definitely go to another Urgent Care.

Yuri was the Nurse Assistant who helped give me a pre-screen and she was extremely nice and supportive.Yuri gave me a Blood Pressure test and checked my weight and height. Yuri was very professional and funny.Chrissy was the Front Desk Clerk. She explained everything to me that needed to be filled out and signed. She was thorough so that I did not miss any signatures and she was informative.Ralphie was my Physician Assistant and he performed my medical exam for my DOT Exam.He was supportive and comforting as we went through the exam.This was a professional and comfortable and fun staff to deal with. A great experience.

The receptionist Shenell was fantastic and greeted me upon entering and leaving. She also took time to explain the process and how long it’ll take. The QR code also made my registration process quick, easy and fast. It’s also verryyyyyy clean

When I entered the clean and nicely decorated AFC Urgent Care I was well greeted and attended to by the front desk administrator. Not only did she greet me with a smile, she politely offered me a mask due to my cough and she offered to assist me if needed completing my registration. That was very thoughtful.The nurse practitioner who took my vitals was also very thoughtful, professional, and caring in her service.Dr Hans must be a reflection of his staff as he too showed interest in my wellbeing, listened to my questions and offered medical suggestions very kindly.The entire staff made my experience worth the visit and around a holiday, when people are eager to be away from work to celebrate.Thank you for the great service.Angela Perry

$150 for them to look at you 10 seconds. Doctor was very rude and rushed. He didn’t even take the time to take a look at my concerns and wasted my time. Don’t waste your money here

Facility can’t hold more than 4 people in the morning according to the nurse. This urgent is only good for casual check ups not medical help

I came to this urgent care the staff was amazing very nice , Nadine es super sweet she walked me thru the whole process she made me feel very comfortable and I felt like I knew her forever , very clean spotless and calm atmosphere, I strongly recommend this urgent care.

Was there last week and NP Jenny was amazing. I was able to have some results ready for my doctor which would have taken days to get back. Thanks to her quickness I was able to advance my care much faster so Im so grateful. Also I noticed the Urgent Care was very clean and organized so I will definitely be going to this location in the future.

I had a complicated billing issue, and the office manager took time from her maternity leave to fix the issue. Very grateful for the teams effort to fix the issue, just took longer than expected, but that was because manager has been on leave!It says a lot about a manager when she is taking her time off to remidify an issue- she is a quality manager, she cares about making things right, and she goes above & beyond.The nurses, NP - Jenny, and other providers are all friendly and as helpful as they can be too :)

The front desk was extremely kind and concerned, the nursing assistant Nadine was competent, efficient and equally concerned about my condition. Dr. Rafael was great! Professional, qualified, intelligent, informative. Genuinely concerned and a great communicator. He even went so far as to wheel me to my car. No arrogance on his part. A compassionate, positive experience overall.

This regent care is quite handy. I made my appointment on a Friday evening and was able to be seen by 8:30 the next day. The office is clean and neat and the staff is polite and helpful. The nurse, Yuri, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The NP I saw, Rafael Luces was very pleasant and asked appropriate questions about my symptoms. From start to finish I was there for about a half hour but felt well taken care of.

Drug screen was in and out. Rene was very nice from when i walked in until I left, she even did my drug screen for me . 10/10 very nice establishment.

Naznin made my visit very simple. I didn’t have my license so she allowed my to print a photo of it from my phone. Fill out basic info and wait a couple minutes till it was my turn. My drug testing was very quick and simple!

Every single time I come here either for myself or for my children, I am always treated with great care and kindness. On today’s visit Christine was especially helpful, patient, and kind when I was having a very difficult time. Thanks to their professional and expedient care, I will be on the mend very soon.

Came in after being sick for over a week. Was not feeling well at all when I arrived and the front desk whats quick to get me signed in and seen by the doctor. The entire staff was professional and very courteous to my needs. I was seen very quickly, prescription sent out and it was a seamless process. Five stars all the way around.

6 days ago I went to my reg. Dr for an extremely painful wrist. She gave me a cortisone shot. But didn’t call in any pain meds- we are talking tramadol 5 pills. Not the big stuff. I called the next day to tell her it was not better and had she called in rx. Sure I hear. Nope. Called Monday got office. They wanted me to pay for another visit. Was supposed to get back to me. Didn’t. Next day too. Finally Tuesday I’m on so much pain I go here. Begging for help. They have me an anti inflammatory injection and 24 hrs later I am so much better. Going out of the country in 2 days and I needed this better. I’m going to this clinic every time now. And I have a referral for when I return. Extremely pleased

My husband and I always come here whenever we have any concerns. Back pain, migraine, blood work, any concern we have we always come and are always treated well and most importantly quickly

The entire nurse staff is amazing Again back at urgent care what a blessing from Regina the nurse. My wound is healing because of people like her.

I visited the office today. I was kindly greeted, when I walked in by Jenny. I was aided to complete the registration form and checked on to see if I was okay with completing the form by Ra. She even put the Wi-Fi on the assist me further. I was called to the back shortly after by Yuri. Jenny came in and greeted me and I was given great care. I was so glad with the services rendered today ladies. Thank you so much. Customer service was great.

Worst customer service ever!! This evening for the second time in two weeks, I made an appointment online only to go to your clinic and learn that you are actually closed. Fix your customer service. Stop sending potential patients confirmation after confirmation if you’re not actually open

America Family Care is by far the Best. I went in today 3/18/24. The staff is courteous and the office is well managed. Dr. John Maarouf attended me. Very great spirited and up to date on all of the latest medications and treatments. No question 5- STARS.D.Kostyo

Horrible service. Tried to check in on 04/02/2024 for herniation pain. The receptionist seem to be upset because they close at 8pm and I showed up at 730pm, she literally told me I had to pay $100 when insurance says $50 without even checking on their portal. Then she told me they might not have a solution for my pain. In other words leave, so I did...Money make or maybe laundry maker, not sure, but not an urgent care I will recommend.AVOID this urgent care.

Was pleasantly surprised..thorough and knowledgeable no wait time

In person, great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. However, Ive been trying to reach them over the phone and they werent answering. Then, the line was busy and finally I called and I could clearly hear the person pick up the phone and hang up. I continued calling and when they answered, an annoyed woman finally answered and I told her I had been calling and someone kept hanging up. She was annoyed and was rude rushing me to tell her what I needed. If theres a problem with your phone and you were truly trying to answer the call, then why would you be rude to the caller when you finally get to hear them? I would have given the office 5 stars but a rude person answering the phone is a big deal even if they are helpful.

My first experience at this facility was very impressive. This is a young group of professionals running the show. From the front desk person to all the others that tended to me very knowledgeable and explained everything to me in a manner that was professional and caring. The entire process was smooth. I recommend this facility for your urgent needs. It was comforting to find a nice place in the local areas. 👍👍

I came in for some pain in my ear and from the front desk to the nurses to the attending I felt listened to and taken care of. Regina was excellent and I left with the pain completely gone. It was honestly a miracle. 10/10 would come back thanks AFC Hollywood Team!

Hollywood urgent care is the cleanest and best one I have every been to. Staff here is very nice, friendly and very patient. My personal favorite is Nadine, she talks to you like she knows you. I highly recommend this urgent care. Two thumbs up

Nadine is one of the best phlebotomists I’ve experienced in years. Her bedside manner was more than up to par, as well as her phlebotomy skills, and techniques. Nadine caused no pain and made my experience at Urgent Care in Hollywood a great one.

Amazingly kind people, especially Dr. Vanessa & Nadine. My sister, who is cognitively disabled, was quite anxious, but the people here made her relax by showing how much she mattered to them. Highly recommend this urgent care

This was the best Urgent Care that I’ve ever been to. From the moment I entered, I received a warm welcome from AFC Urgent Care. All staff I encountered was very compassionate and caring. I also had an amazing patient experience with Briana. She did the best blood draw I ever received during my visit. I would recommend anyone to AFC Urgent Care Hollywood. I’m truly grateful for my experience. :)

She always let me know what she was doing was made me feel at ease. Dr. Samaniego was very understanding. I appreciate that. She really took her time to take care of my issue. I can tell that she cared and she even made me laugh which I needed at the moment. Overall I had a very good experience and I’m glad that I came to this urgent care.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted right away. Front desk staff was very nice. About a few minutes later Ana came to place me into a room. She took my vitals and ensured me the doctor would be coming in shortly. Doctor was very nice and informative. Definitely will be back for any other services.

I was a walk in and sat down for less than 10 minutes before I was called to the back. Anna was amazing ! This place was amazing!! We had a cruise with carnival and on the cruise my son got misdiagnosed with an inner ear infection and was given amoxicillin. He was getting much worse instead of better. We ubered here right after we got off ship and they were so friendly. They didnt take our insurance since we were out of state but it was only $140ish and they diagnosed him with swimmers ear and an outer ear infection and prescribed him antibiotic drops. They were so kind and got us in really fast. Walked over to Walmart with our luggage and we picked up the prescription which was also done with in 15 min. We come to Hollywood every year and although I hope we never will be an urgent care on a visit again, I would definitely come here!

I went to this office with my mother in law she wasn’t feeling very well and all the staff were super attentive, helpful and very friendly, Nazmin was the medical assistant was very nice my mother in law don’t speak English so she was very patient with her and Dr Maarouf was very nice as well he explained everything very well, and Norma the X-ray technician was super nice as well very friendly, all the staff are 5 stars in my opinion.Also the clinic was very clean, we left very happy with everything and everyone.

The service here is very professional and quick. I brought my son here for a sports physical. We were checked in promptly. Before I could sit down in the waiting area they were calling my son’s name for his physical. I couldn’t believe it. The nurse was the kindest, energetic, and sweetest professional I have ever met in a medical facility. She was very patient and good at making my son feel comfortable. The doctor followed the same friendly tempo. Very professional and knowledgeable.I loved it here. We will be back again.

I had an irritation of my left eye, I went into AFC urgent care with only 20 minutes before they were closed. Nadine took care of me and Johannes Welch examined my eye, gave me recommendations and prescribed an eye drops to help with the pain and irritation.Thank you for seeing me in such a short time!

This place is awesome and so super convenient!! The associated are nice, welcoming and kind. Had to get my drug screening done, and I was in and out. Briana was amazing and made the process a no brainer. Her smile lit up the place. I will most definitely refer this place and I will use them in the future.

Visited Urgent Care on 4/22 Chanel at the front desk was very kind and help me fill out my paper work as it was my first time visiting. I was only sitting in the front office for about 10min before Sam came and grabbed me she was very funny and polite, someone you need in a doctors office. Finally I spoke with Jen who diagnosed me and gave me a detail print out of everything I needed so I could give myself the best self care. Overall the the place is a 10/10 with the staff being the best part. Highly recommend:-)

I visited the clinic with my 2 sons, 3 and 21 months, yesterday. I am in south Florida travelling on vacation and had a great experience here. Easy appointment booking, polite greeting wonderful nurse and Dr. From the get go our nurse, Ana, was so good with my 2 young sons being patient and taking information about their conditions and speaking to them at their level. Dr. Marouf was wonderful as well. Speaking directly to my children in age appropriate language and with lots of patience. Thank for a great visit. We can now get on with our vacation with peace of mind.

Anna was sweet, fast, and friendly! Made me feel comfortable and treated me with respect. Recommend Anna for your next visit.Update: it’s been 2 weeks and I have yet to get my results back for a test I took. I was told by Anna that I should get results in 2-3 days and it’s going on Week 3 and I still don’t have results or have heard from anyone about it. This is the same thing that happened to me when I came here to take a drug test for my job. They ended up mislabeling my test and results never came in and I had to take another drug test else where. Seems like a never ending problem with this urgent care. Absolutely disappointed in the lack of care and communication after a visit. Change my rate to 2 stars.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences here. I’ve been seen at several urgent care places but the quality of care I receive here is unlike any other place and it is all thanks to their wonderful staff. The medical assistant, Sam is such a warm and kind and dedicated worker here and she really knows how to treat patients well. I am always treated with so much compassion and care when I come here and it is mainly thanks to her!

Wow! I had an amazing service & super fast. The place was clean and staff super friendly. I took him to his pediatrician and they send us home with no solution. Came back to the urgent care today and they were able to find a solution and send him medication to feel better.

I have really bad memory but the tech under the name I believe Diana she has a really nice colorful tattoo on her wrist she does her job pretty efficiently y’all should give her a raise she deserves it.

Im not a fan of writing bad reviews but this one had me real good.My first time was very fast and pleasant there is a nice older gentlemen who was really nice ... I got tested on a Saturday and TWO WEEKS later, ( no email ) I drove by and I asked the gentlemen in the front desk twice to be sure and he started mocking me “ if I spoke English or Japanese, and making racial Japanese sounds “ , extremely rude. I was amazed how a grown man can act like a little child to customers.PLUS I SPENT $50 BUCKS...... THE RESULTS WERE GIVEN TWO WEEKS LATER WHEN YOU STATE 24 HOURS.

Dr. Brian and Dr. Maarouf are exceptional. My husband went there for his back and the doctors were able to pinpoint exactly what the problem was and provided him a clear and decisive plan of action for feeling better. They answered all our questions and left us with a better understanding of what was happing. I would recommend seeing them if you are not feeling well.

Naznin was super patient with my two sisters and I upon check in. She was very friendly and helpful. Brianna very professionally administered the PCR tests to each of us, and answered any and all questions we had. Thank you to all of the staff there. The facility was very clean, and we felt comfortable being there.

The medical assistant Sam was awesome!!! She is very knowledgeable and professional. Ive already recommended a few of my friends to come to AFC because of Sam! Shes very gentle and answers all your questions without making you feel like youre asking for too much. The clinic is clean and up to date as well!!
