Whether I was recovering from an injury, a cold or travel, Andrea provided excellent care that was customized to meet my needs. With her experience in multiple modalities, she is focused on healing and explains her method and thought process.

By the time I went to Modus I had experienced two years of debilitating back pain which included countless doctor visits, physical therapy, pain management, chiropractic -- with very slow to no progress. I did try another acupuncturist with no relief and decided it was not for me. No one seemed to be able to get me back to my active self, and it was a frustrating and frankly depressing process. My daughter recommended I give Andrea a try, and after half a dozen visits to Modus I began increasing my daily walking distance and am now up to 3 miles. Andrea is kind, gentle, knowledgeable, and obviously skilled at her practice. I am so thankful I was referred to her, as she played an integral part in my healing. I cant say enough about her!

Andrea was so attentive and passionate about our session. This was my first time using acupuncture and specially to induce for labor. After our session I went into labor two days later. It was truly a blessing to get to know her and experience these life moments. Highly recommend!

Having been to multiple acupuncture clinics over the years, the treatment I have received with Andrea at Modus is far and away the best.Yes, acupuncture can be extremely useful in the treatment of pain (I know from experience), but it is also an under utilized modality for combating depression and anxiety, and a huge factor when dealing with fertility struggles, and womens health in general.I am a true believer in combining both eastern and western medicine.Andrea supports this, and is truly in tune with her patients. She has tailored each and every visit to my current needs with skill and empathy.This is the first time I have felt completely heard and understood by my practitioner. I found Modus through my insurance company and Yelp. I was looking strictly for fertility acupuncture as I struggled with multiple losses and was considered high risk. I met Kuzu at Modus and he worked along side with Andrea. They are both so great and resourceful! I loved every visit, including the massages and the needles honestly didnt bother me at all. I was a little hesitant trying it at first cause I thought it would hurt but it didnt. I loved the shiatsu massage by Kuzu. Andrea had so many great recommendations and suggested I try the Whole 30 program along with acupuncture and within 2 cycles I was pregnant and had a successful pregnancy, and got my V-BAC wish with a miracle rainbow baby boy. He came 5 weeks early as my water broke and was in the NICU for a week. I gave birth at 41 years old. Now I have two rainbow babies, one girl and one boy and our now out life is complete! Thank you so much Modus! I recommend Andrea and her team to anyone out there that is looking for exceptional, top quality care. The facility is clean and beautifully decorated. As a healthcare professional, I am ver picky about practitioners that I go to see for my own health and wellness. When I moved from Santa Monica to Orange County I struggled finding an acupuncturist for pain management and stress reduction… until I found Andrea. Over the last year we have worked on a number of issues stemming from an endocrine disorder, as well as chronic upper back spasm. I know that whenever I leave Andreas beautiful clinic I will feel rejuvenated, at peace, and pain free. She is both knowledgable and intuitive, and takes exceptional care of her patients. This is a wonderful and professional practice! I have had fantastic experiences with both Kuzu and Andrea. I leave here feeling wonderful and relaxed after each session.
